SPC Charts: Alarm Tests Tab

Use the Alarm Tests tab to identify out-of-control conditions. These rules will trigger alarm indicators. When a condition is met, data is plotted in red and the alarm condition is shown in a Tool Tip box. Charts that support alarm indication are XBar, Range, XBar-R, Sigma, XBar-S, Moving Average, Moving Range, Individual (Run), C, P, Np, and U.

NOTE: Alarm Rules 1, 4, 6, and 7 can be used for all charts that support alarms; alarm rules 2, 3, 5, and 8 can be used for XBar, XBar-R, XBar-S, Moving XBar, and Individual (Run) charts only.
