Registration ActiveX Controls - COM Server

On this page you can select ActiveX controls (*ocx) or COM server (*.dll) from you or from third parties. When a version is registered, all files in the list are registered automatically.

The button 'Add' opens a file selection dialog, in which you can select single ocx/dll files and add them to the list. Please consider that you can change the file type from *.ocx to *.dll during file selection.
The files are saved with path information. If you change the storage path, you have to delete the link with 'Remove' and generate a new one.

The files that you enter here are registered, independent of the central setting 'Register all OCX files of selected version'.

Pre-start and post-start programs

In the pre-start / post-start options you can enter programs (or also BATCH files) that are to be executed before/after starting the application.

The following properties are available on this property page:

Selection list with file name/file path	List of all files to be registered
Add	Opens the Windows `Open` dialog for selecting a file to be registered.
Remove	Removes all selected entries from the selection list of the files to be registered.
Pre Start	External program that should be started, before the Editor or Runtime of the selected control system version is started.
Post Start	External program that should be started, after the Editor or Runtime of the selected control system version has been closed.
