Operating during Runtime

On activating the Alarm Information List in online operation, the displays (picture editor) defined in the editor and the transfer parameters (user-defined function) are taken into account. The creation of technologic or priority-oriented lists is possible.

Various control elements can be used for operating the Alarm Information Lists and the displays. Possible options are:

`Default`	drawing several elements in a pre-defined status into the picture
`Display active`	Status of the alarm management (active/ passive) Number of the displayed (filtered out) alarms
`Acknowledge buttons`	Acknowledge alarms in online operation
`- Selected`	Alarm selected in the list are acknowledged
`- Page`	All alarms displayed on the current page are acknowledged
`- All`	All alarms for the current filter criteria are acknowledged In case of a multi-user project (see chapter Distributed Engineering) only the alarms of the project for which the user is authorized are acknowledged.
`Delete buttons`	Delete acknowledged alarms in online operation from the alarm information list
`- Selected`	Alarm selected in the list are deleted
`- Page`	All alarms displayed on the current page are deleted.
`- All`	All alarms for the current filter criteria are deleted
`Function button`	Selection of the function execution in online operation; for the function "Execute program", the variable name of the selected alarm can be passed on to the program to be executed as a parameter with the keyword "@alarm.name"
`Function display`	Display of the function assigned to the alarm information
`Filter button`	Opening of the filter mask
`Filter display`	Display of the current filter conditions
`Reaction text`	Comment text which can be output in online operation for each alarm information; the text can be displayed in the list (option "Reaction text" in the list definition of the alarm configuration)
`Button`	List operation (new entries are automatically added to the list or not)
`- Stop`
`- Continue`
`Close button`	Close alarm information list
`Alarm Information List`	Display window of the Alarm Information List
`Button print`	Print filtered list
`Button Print dialog`	Printer settings
`Buttons`	List operation
`- Line up`	Scroll text in list element up

`Profiles`	Save online settings in profiles

`- Delete profile`	Deletes existing profile

When the Alarm Information List is opened, the status of the alarm management is shown in the upper left corner (active or inactive). Offered functions are: acknowledging, deleting, changing filter, printing, function execution, page up and down, line up and down, stop and continue. The configuration of the acknowledging and/or deletion obligation is made in the configuration of the variables (see Chapter on Process data model and variable definition). The acknowledging resets the flashing attribute of the variables. The deletion of an entry can only be made with a prior acknowledgment of a gone alarm event.

Alarms in the Alarm Information List can have three states:

1	Not cleared
2	Not acknowledged
3	Not deleted

The variables for not acknowledged alarms, acknowledged alarms and number of alarms is stored in a local list in the memory.
