Editing entries

There are several ways to edit entries (e.g. in order to change a variable name).

A.

Tool bar in the detail view

Select the cell you want to edit by left-clicking on it.

Click on the button Edit selected cell in the tool bar in order to activate the edit mode.

The binocular symbol in the toolbar shows you which cell you marked. For more information about detail view see chapter Tool bar in the detail view

B.

Context menu

Click on the cell you want to edit with the right mouse button.

The context menu opens. Click on the entry Edit selected cell to activate the edit mode.

C.

Delayed double-click

Activate the edit mode with a delayed-double click (click twice slowly) on the cell you want to edit.

D.

Properties window

Select the variable you want to change.

Edit the entry you want to change in the properties of the variable.

E.

F2 KEY

Select the cell you want to edit by left-clicking on it.

Press the F2 key to activate the edit mode.

Exceptions

Properties that cannot be changed in the property window cannot be changed in the detail view either, e.g. variable name of a system driver variable.

In the History of changes, it is not possible to make changes at all because of FDA rules.

In the project backups only the backup name can be edited (see chapter Project configuration / Backup and restore project).
