Use BwView.htm to connect Web browser VIEW to a SCADA node without using the Project Node. This allows a web browser client to connect to the SCADA node if the project node is not available. This also uses the network address of the SCADA node to connect and does not require the manual copying of deploy files.
IIS (Internet Information Server) must be installed on the SCADA Node. This allows a remote web browser client to connect to the SCADA node, using the SCADA nodes IP Address or other network address if IIS (Internet Information Server) is installed on the SCADA Node.
The project’s dpj file and bwview.htm will be copied automatically to drive:\Inetpub\wwwroot\broadweb directory when “download database” or “download graph only” is performed. (Note that the Project Node must be running to do a download).
To connect VIEW Clients directly to SCADA node without connecting to project node, enter the following in the Address field of web browser:
http://SCADANode_ipaddress/broadweb/bwview.htm#proj=projectName&node=Nodename
You can specify more options for the URL. For example, goto=…&user=…&pass=…&…….. similar to bwviewpg.asp (described in the Engineering Manual section 16.1.2).View options allow:
