Two environments are provided with Proficy Portal: a configuration environment and a run-time environment. The configuration environment allows you to create and modify analysis displays. The run-time environment allows you to view and analyze the data. Both environments are accessible to Proficy Portal clients using a web browser; however, by using security you can restrict access to the configuration environment.
