By default, Proficy Portal updates the values to target properties and parameters when the selected value changes. However, you can configure Proficy Portal to update the target object based on a different event. For example, you may want to update values based on a cell selection in a grid object rather than a row selection.
You can configure Proficy Portal to update parameter values based on a specific event using the Parameter Connections dialog box. See To connect an object to a parameter for detailed steps. For more information on Event types, see Actions and Events.
