If you do not have a Proficy Portal hardware key, you can run the product in Demo mode, which will cease operation after two hours. To run the Proficy Portal server for more than two hours, you need to purchase a hardware key. Refer to Proficy Portal Licensing and The Hardware Key.
If you do have a key but it is not recognized, the Proficy Portal server starts in Demo mode as well. Contact GE Fanuc Technical Support if your key is not recognized.
