Properties | To configure a VariableLink
The VariableLink is used to display variables. Variables are system-defined items of data that can be connected to substitution parameters in display objects. If you want to show the value of the variable that is passed to a parameter, or you simply want to show a variable's value on a display, use a VariableLink object.
Similar to the Datalink, the VariableLink has customizable data formatting options for both numeric and alphanumeric output. Additionally, the VariableLink can be set up with animations.
The VariableLink cannot be used with the display time variables (display date times). Instead, use the Time and Date Link to show the start and end date/time of a display.
