A project consits of Editor and Runtime files. A transfer of the Runtime files is e.g. possible with Remote Transport. This chapter deals with backing up and restoring the Editor files of a project. The project backup creates a ZIP file with the saved project. This backup then can be restored to the same or another computer.

In the Project Manager there is an own node 'Project backup'. Also see chapter Project Manager. In the context menu of this entry you can select between 'Create backup' and 'Restore backup'.

attention Attention

Project backups created with zenon and SQL Server Express (SQL Server 2005) cannot be restored to a MSDE database server (resp. SQL Server 2000)!
