Configurable options are:

Cyclic

Cycle

Reading in of the values is done cyclically by the system (days, hours, minutes and seconds)

Monthly

Reading in of the values is done at every month change

Event triggered

Event variable

Reading in of the values is done by edge change (0->1) of the variable defined here (trigger variable)

time stamp

- External

Time stamp of the last change of the process variables is transferred into the archive

- Internal

Current time stamp of the trigger variables is transferred into the archive.

Spontaneous

Process variables are only saved into the archive on their own spontaneous value change

- Start values

On creating a new archive file the current values of the variables are written into the archive.

- End values

Ignoring initialization value

On closing an archive file the current values of the variables are written into the archive.

If a variable is read the first time (e.g. on starting the Runtime or when the standby server upgrades to the server) an initialization value can be entered. 
Active: The initialization value is not written (ignored)
Inactive: The initialization value is written and used in further processing (not ignored).
