For the language change a language table has to be created in the Project Manager. This language table is based on a text file.
Here it is true: For each language / column of the language table, one file is created.
In this file, the keyword is seperated from the
translation with the pipe-sign |". The files can be found in the
Project Manager under Files/Language tables
.
Info |
Global font lists can be created (in the global proejct); the entries there are available in all projects of the workspace. |
If a keyword is entered in the language table, this line is automatically filled with the keyword in all colums until it is overwritten by the translation.
The folder Language table is in the Project Manager.
Int he context menu of Language table another language can be created with the entry New Language table". A new name (e.g. "German") can be given to the file. So a new file is created. The new table can be opened with "open".
Info |
In the language table the keywords are entered without "@" resp. the "@" is automatically removed. For the entries in the language table the following is true: for each "@" a package is generated and these packages have to entered in the language table as single entries. Thus one entry per "@"! @The user@ Miller @is logged out. Two entries have to be added to the language table: @The user@ Miller @is logged out. |
The column zenOn.Str.txt is created automatically. This file cannot be deleted but expanded. When the Runtime starts this file is loaded automatically.
Keywords can be translated during engineering in the editor.
The language, that is displayed in the Editor instead of the keyword, is displayed in green color in the column header.
So already in the Editor you are able to check, if the length of the texts does not exceed the length of the according text fields. There is no need to start the Runtime for this.
The language for the Editor can be switched via the context menu of the language table with the command "Language file for Editor".
It is possible to search texts and text fragments in a language table (also "regular expressions").
It is also possible to search and replace texts and text fragments in one single step.
The functionality effects all selected cells of the table or the entire table (depending on the selection).
Example |
Course of action Select required cell, right mouse click -> context menu, search or replace. |
To sort columns ascending or descending, open the context menu and select the entry "sort".
Fonts can be changed via the context menu of the language table.
Info |
If the font is not displayed properly in the list, then the settings have to be changed in the control panel. Under Display/Representation/Element symbol/Font Arial Unicode. |
