Setting preferences for the current display   

  1. From the Edit Menu, select Current Display Settings. The Edit Current Display Settings dialog box appears.

  2. Select a tab to set specific preferences:

    • Click the Display tab to configure general preferences for the current display. How?

    NOTE: The general display settings override the application-wide display preferences that may already be set.

    • Click the Quick Time tab to configure time preferences for the current display. How?

    • Click the Scroll Rates tab to configure the display's scroll rates. How?

    NOTE: The scroll rate display settings override the application-wide time preferences that may already be set. These preferences take effect immediately for new displays. Existing displays will not use the new preference until you modify them yourself.

    • Click the Auto Update tab to configure the display's auto update rates. Select the Enabled check box and enter the number of seconds in the Rate in Secs box.

    • Click the Error & Wait Icons tab to configure the display-specific error/wait icon options. How?

    • Click the Printing tab to set headers and/or footers that will be applied when the current display is printed. How?

  3. Click OK to save your changes.
