While in Configure mode, click the Insert menu and select Controls | Time Component.
The Time Component Configuration dialog box appears.
In the Name box, enter a name that will identify the Time Component when its properties are linked to other objects.
On the General tab, select the time mode option (Absolute, Relative, or Range).
For the absolute option - select the specific Start and End times.
For the Relative option - select options from the Start and End list boxes. The Start and End date/time display automatically updates as you change the values.

If you chose the Absolute or Relative option, select the Start or Start & End option button to display either the start time/date only or the start and end times/date.
If you chose the Relative or Range option, select the Combo Box or List Box options button to display the time in either a combo or list box.
If you chose the Absolute option, you have the option of showing the Update button on the display. The time updates immediately on the target object when the Update button is clicked. Select the Show Update Button check box to display the Update Button.
If you chose the Relative or Range option, you have the option of showing the `evaluated' time on the display; that is, the actual time/date that is being used according to the selection that is made. Select the Show Evaluate Time check box to display the actual date/time on the display.
To change the format of the date/time, click the Format tab.
Select one of the four option buttons - Time to show the time only, Date to show the date only, TimeDate to show the time followed by the date, and DateTime to show the date followed by the time.
From the Date Format list box, select a format for the date (if you want to display the date).
From the Time Format list box, select a format for the time (if you want to display the time).
