Show Fixed Number of Categories

Indicates whether there is a fixed number of categories displayed on the chart.

Selected – There is a fixed number of categories, specified in the adjacent text box (valid values: any number).

Dash Dot Dot

Inter-Bar Gap

The amount of space between bars.

Values 0 - 10 – 0 indicates no space between bars; 10 is the most space between bars.

Bad Data Options:
Bad Data Column

NOTE: Not available for VisualSPC data sources (bad data filtering is set automatically)

Allows you to set a filter on the quality column for data sources that supply a quality column. Set the operator and value according to the bad data value in the column.

Use the Quality Column in conjunction with the Bad Data Rule list box to filter out data.

Column – available columns (dependent on data source).

Operator – mathematical operators (=, <>, >, >=, <, <=).

Value – any ASCII characters (value type is text).

Bad Data Options:
Data Column
Value

NOTE: Not available for VisualSPC data sources (bad data filtering is set automatically)

Allows you to set a filter on the chart's data column. Use in conjunction with the Bad Data Rule list box to filter out data. If a single column data source is used, you can filter on the Quality column only (this field is not available).

Operator – mathematical operators (=, <>, >, >=, <, <=).

Value – any number (value type is numeric).

Bad Data Options:
Bad Data Rule

NOTE: Not available for VisualSPC data sources (bad data filtering is set automatically)

The bad data rule to apply to filter criteria (as set for the chart's data column).

NOTE: `Exclude Sample' is the only bad data option available for attribute charts.

NONE – do not apply a bad data rule.

Exclude Sample – the samples that meet the criteria are excluded during run-time.

Exclude SubGroup – the subgroups that consist of samples that meet the criteria are excluded during run-time

Use SubGroup Mean – samples that meet the criteria are removed from a subgroup, and when they are removed, the mean of the remaining samples (in that subgroup) is calculated and used as a substitute for the excluded samples.

Report Title

Specifies the title that appears on a Quick Report (HTML report) when the data is exported.

Any text.

Chart Image

Indicates whether the chart image is exported when data is exported to an HTML table.

NOTE: Tool Tips will not appear in the exported chart image.

Selected – the image of the chart is exported to an HTML table.

Cleared – the image of the chart is not exported to an HTML table (only the data is exported).

Descriptive Statistics

NOTE: Not
available for Pareto charts.

Indicates whether the chart's descriptive statistics (e.g., LCL, UCL, CL) are exported.

Selected – the chart's descriptive statistics are exported.

Cleared – the chart's descriptive statistics are not exported.

Summary Data

Indicates whether the summary data (e.g., cumulative frequency, cumulative percentage) is exported.

Selected – the chart's summary data is exported.

Cleared – the chart's summary data is not exported.
