You can export grid or chart data to comma-separated value (CSV) files. This feature allows you to import the data into Microsoft Excel for additional analysis of the data.
To export data, right-click the chart or grid and choose one of the following options:
Export Remote – prompts you for a file name and saves the CSV file to the server location AllUsers/GridData (grids) or AllUsers/ChartData (charts).
Export Local – prompts you for a file name and allows you to choose the location on your local machine to save the file to.
NOTE: For Quality (SPC) charts, and for Time charts (that show Historical data), additional export options are available. For more information, see Exporting Data from SPC Charts or Exporting Time Chart Data.
