Minimum requirements

Supply area

For the correct functionality of the EMS, you must create at least the following variables for a supply area:

Current value

Current value

A variable that contains the current value of the area consumption. The value must represent the counter difference per time unit of the sum of the consumptions of the supply area. Open the dialog for selecting variables by clicking on the button.

Attention: Make sure that the value will be transmitted cyclically, as it causes a short-term optimization.

Supply limit

Supply limit

A variable that contains the currently configured supply capacity limit. If the value changes during Runtime, the supply capacity limit will also be changed for one supply period. Open the dialog for selecting variables by clicking on the button.

Start value of forecast

Start value of forecast

A variable that contains the start value of the forecast line at the beginning of the forecast time range. Open the dialog for selecting variables by clicking on the button.

First switching value

First switching value

A variable that contains the calculated supply average, at which the next switching action will be executed. Open the dialog for selecting variables by clicking on the button.

Attention: This variable must be configured for the Internal driver in order to guarantee proper functioning.

Forecast area:

Gross actual deviation

A variable for the average deviation of the real value forecast. This average equals the difference between the forecasted average of the real value prognosis and the supply capacity limit. Open the dialog for selecting variables by clicking on the button.

In the context menu for a supply area you can find the menu item Create variable. It automatically creates variables for the properties listed above and links the variables with the properties. Excepted are the following properties Current value

and Supply limit. You must create these manually.

Generator/device

Switching state for the generator

Switching state

A variable that delivers the current switching state of a consumer (ON or OFF). Open the dialog for selecting variables by clicking on the button.
