To grant access to a folder

  1. Open the Proficy Portal Administration application.

  2. Click the Roles & Users button.

  3. Expand the Roles or Users folder in the tree, and select a role or user.

  4. Select the Folders tab in the lower pane and locate the folder you want to grant access to.

  5. Right-click the folder you want to grant the role or user access to, and select Share Folder. The folder is displayed in the list on the right with read/write access, by default.

  6. NOTE: If you grant access to a top-level folder, by default you also grant access to the associated sub-folders. The sub-folders inherit the type of access value assigned to the top-level folder; however, you can change the type of access for the sub-folders.

  7. Click the Apply button for your changes to take effect.
