Proficy Portal Enterprise edition has been developed to integrate with an iFIX installation. Proficy Portal Enterprise Edition includes support for many features common to iFIX users, such as:
The animated shape library. For more information about the available shapes and how to animate them, refer to the section Animations.
The Alarm Analysis object for viewing alarms. For more information about the Alarm Analysis object, refer to the section The Alarm Analysis Object.
A FIX connector that allows the Proficy Portal server to communicate with iFIX SCADA servers. For more information about configuring a FIX connector and setting up an iFIX SCADA server as a data source, refer to the section Working with FIX Data Sources. The FIX connector is available with both the Historian and Enterprise versions of Proficy Portal.
An Alarms data source that is used with the Alarms Analysis object. For more information, see Working with Alarms Data Sources.
