Configuring a Correlation chart

  1. If you have not already done so, insert a chart by selecting it from the Insert menu How?, or double-click an existing chart to access the chart's configuration panel.

  2. After you add the chart to your display, set miscellaneous chart options such as the chart's name, modification restriction, and antialiasing. How?

  3. Set the refresh setting for the chart. How?

  4. Enter/configure the chart's title. How?

  5. Customize the chart's background appearance. How?

  6. Configure the chart's data export options. How?

  7. Add and configure the chart's pens:

    • Load a pen group. How?

  1. Configure the x axis pen. How?

  2. Configure the y axis pen. How?

  3. If there are multiple pens to configure, and they have similar configurations, after you configure one pen, click the tab you want to reuse and click the Apply Tab button, or click the Apply All Tabs button to reuse all the tabs.

  4. NOTE: Trend buffer options that are set for real time data sources (on the Options tab) cannot be applied to other pens with the Apply Tab or Apply All Tabs buttons.

  5. Configure chart-specific settings, such as axes, cursors, zooming, and scrolling options. How?

  6. Configure regression parameters. How?

  7. Specify Quick Time parameters. How?

  8. Customize the Legend. How?

  9. Specify the chart's font. How?

  10. Click OK to save your changes and close the dialog box.
